Knock some doors
Canvasses and phone banks for the candidates we endorsed. Training happens on the spot — you'll be paired with someone who's done it before.
Use what you're good at
Photo, video, design, spreadsheets, writing, or just knowing a lot of people. Our media and outreach work is run by members, not contractors.
Bring your people
The single most useful thing anyone does for this club. A club of thirty is a different organism than a club of twelve.
Between now and November
Where the help is going
Eight of our nine endorsed candidates are on the November ballot. We've picked four of them to concentrate on, because a club our size does more by going deep in a few races than by spreading itself across all of them.
Top priority
Katrina Foley · Supervisor, District 5
Decided by a narrow margin in the primary and headed to a November runoff. This is the closest race on our map and the one we're organizing hardest around. The general-election field program opens September 12 with the launch of the campaign's action office in Costa Mesa.
The other three
Galvez · Levin · Kluwe
JJ Galvez came to our August meeting to ask for help in AD-71 — doors, phones, and content on the Orange County side of a district that runs into Riverside. His campaign knocks doors in Rancho Mission Viejo every Saturday and Sunday morning through Election Day. Chris Kluwe's South OC canvasses start September 12 in Laguna Hills and run through Laguna Beach, Laguna Woods and Aliso Viejo, and Dave Min joins him in Aliso Viejo on September 13.

Campaign jobs & internships
We share volunteer, internship and paid campaign openings with our members — for any Democratic candidate, whether or not we endorsed in that race. Several of our own board members got their start exactly this way, and the number of openings climbs every week as November gets closer.

The clubs around us
We're one small piece of a much larger network in Orange County, and we'd rather you were active somewhere than nowhere. Their events are on our calendar too.
Canyon Democrats
A large, well-run club covering the canyon communities. Excellent monthly general meetings with guest speakers.
Orange County Young Democrats
The countywide Young Dems chapter. Staffer socials, countywide endorsements, and a direct line into party structures.
Democratic Women of South OC
A close partner on outreach and voter registration, including joint work in the Latino community ahead of November.
Ranch Democrats
Ladera Ranch and Rancho Mission Viejo — inside our own boundary. Fourth Wednesday of the month on Williams Way.
Your city's club
Laguna Beach, Laguna Woods and Aliso Niguel each run their own monthly club. All three are on our calendar.
Democratic Party of Orange County
The county party. Where the coordinated campaign, the data, and most of the countywide infrastructure lives.
California Young Democrats
Our state affiliate. Runs the State Leadership Summit and the statewide endorsement process.
