We meet
Second Wednesday of the month, 7 PM. Agendas go out ahead of time, minutes get published after. Guests are always welcome.
We're the young Democrats of South Orange County. We meet the second Wednesday of every month, we endorse the candidates we believe in, and then we go knock on doors for them.
Anyone can come to a meeting — you don't have to be a member to show up.
No mystery, no gatekeeping. This is the whole job.
Second Wednesday of the month, 7 PM. Agendas go out ahead of time, minutes get published after. Guests are always welcome.
Candidates come to us, take questions from members, and leave the room. Then members vote. Nine endorsements so far.
Canvasses, phone banks, and voter registration for the candidates we endorsed — plus whatever the campaigns need most.
Socials, and a standing invitation to the other clubs in our orbit — Canyon Dems, OCYD, the Democratic Women of South OC.
Not just our meetings. Canyon Dems, OCYD, the county party, canvasses for the candidates we endorsed, and the deadlines that actually matter — kept in one place so you never have to hunt for a link again.
In May we held our first endorsement meeting. Every candidate got equal time in front of the membership, and members — not the board — cast the votes.
Roughly twenty of us, in somebody's living room, on a Wednesday.

Most of us walked in knowing nothing about how any of this works. You'll get the calendar, the agenda before every meeting, and a straight answer about where help is actually needed.
